Learn more about each of the search options available via the main search page.

Search Terms
You may search for terms that appear in just the title, abstract or key words for an article, or any combination of the three. Note that articles prior to mid-1982 (Vol. 8, No. 3) do not have keywords.

From the drop-down list to the right, you may select to search for any of the terms, all of the terms, or the exact phrase that you entered. Each term should be separated by a space.

Author's Last Name
You may search for articles containing any or all of the names you specify. Separate them by a space.

Year
You may search for articles containing any or a range of the years you specify. Separate them by a space; for example, if you want to search for articles between 1975 and 1978, enter "1975 1978" and select the "range" option. To find articles from either 1975 and 1978, enter "1975 1978" and select "any" from the drop down list to the right.

Volume
You may search for articles containing any or a range of the volumes you specify. Separate them by a space; for example, if you want to search for articles from volumes 1 through 4, enter "1 4" and select the "range" option. To find articles from either volume 1 or 4, enter "1 4" and select "any" from the drop down list to the right.

Issue
You may search for articles containing any or a range of the issues you specify. Separate them by a space; for example, if you want to search for articles from issues 1 through 3, enter "1 3" and select the "range" option. To find articles from either volume 1 or 3, enter "1 3" and select "any" from the drop down list to the right. This option is most helpful used in conjunction with the Volume field to identify articles in a specific publication.

Number of Results Per Page
Indicate whether you would to display 10, 25 or 50 results per page.

List First
Select whether you'd like to display first the most recent or the oldest articles matching your search.
