Students

Student members are integral to the success of IAGLR. To recognize achievements and encourage involvement of student members, we present several scholarships and awards to outstanding student researchers each year. In addition, we award travel funds to many students to help defray costs of conference attendance. Student-specific events are held at IAGLR's annual Conference on Great Lakes Research, and a comprehensive listing of jobs and graduate student assistantships are regularly updated to help serve the needs of students seeking employment and advanced educational opportunities.

Two student members (one U. S. and one Canadian) are elected to serve on the Board of Directors, ensuring that student issues are addressed by the Association. Comments, questions, and suggestions by student members are encouraged and may be directed to the Student Board Members at .
