IAGLR Operating Endowment
The IAGLR Operating Endowment was established in 2008 to support the operating expenses of the Association. Both the interest and principal, whose allocations are controlled by the Board of Directors, could be available to cover such costs.
The endowment of any organization is its life blood. It means everything to the organization's health and value. A solid endowment ensures that there is a steady flow of income to accomplish the work of the organization while leaving the principal untouched as security.
Operating expenses of the organization include support for the IAGLR Board of Directors, Business Office, and Office of the Executive Director, Journal of Great Lakes Research and staff as well as the annual conference.
