Getting There

By Air (Detroit Metropolitan Airport/DTW): All venues along the Detroit Riverfront are approximately 20 miles east of the Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW) in Romulus. After landing, take 94 East towards Detroit. Take Exit 215A onto M-10 S (Lodge Freeway) towards Downtown. M-10 S becomes E. Jefferson Ave (in front of Cobo, RenCen).

By Air (Windsor International Airport/YQG): Windsor International Airport (YQG) is approximately 15km (10mi) due South of the Detroit Riverfront. After landing, take CR-42/Division Road west towards Walker Road. Turn right on Walker and head north for 2.5km. Then, turn left to merge onto the E. C. Row Expressway W ramp. In 450m, take the Dougall Ave N exit (signs to Tunnel to USA) and turn left. For 4.4km, Dougall Ave N turns into Ouellette Ave. At the Wyandotte Street intersection, turn right and immediately left onto Goyeau St (Detroit Windsor Tunnel). Follow signs to USA.

By Bus: SMART Bus Route #125 operates between DTW Airport and Downtown Detroit. Fares are $2.00/ride. View schedules, routes, and times. Transit Windsor Bus Route #8 [Walkerville] connects YQG Windsor Airport to Windsor International Transit Terminal. From there, the TunnelBus operates between the United States and Canadian borders. Getting Around Detroit

By Tram: Detroit’s People Mover, an elevated tram that operates around most of the downtown district, runs from 6:30 a.m. until midnight Sunday – Thursday and until 2 a.m. during the weekend. Fares are $0.75/ride. View the station map.

By Bus: The SMART Bus system operates throughout the City of Detroit and most of the metropolitan area. View schedules, routes, and times.

By Car-Share: The smartphone apps Uber and Lyft provide excellent ways to get around the city or to and from the airport. Search for Uber or Lyft in the AppStore or Google Play Store and install the application. Enter “c96fl” to get a free ride (up to $10) with your first ride using Uber. Enter “KYLE658434” for a credit on your first ride with Lyft.

Parking

Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center offers on-site parking for a fee of $25/day or off site-parking for $20/day. Guests can also choose to have their vehicle parked by a valet for $35/day. Cobo Center has 2,000 parking spaces available for a fee on a first-come, first-served basis at the Cobo Roof Deck, Washington Blvd Garage, and Cobo Center Congress Street Garage. Visitors can reserve their space in Cobo garages ahead of time using the ParkMe smartphone app for both Cobo Roof and Washington Blvd.
