Michigan high school students help NOAA researchers locate two shipwrecks in Lake Huron

A research expedition on Lake Huron discovered two shipwrecks and engaged five students in science. The research team found the schooner M.F. Merrick and the steel freighter Etruria in deep water off Presque Isle, MI. Five Saginaw high school students participated in what was a life-changing experience for them.
